Stranded in Boston

It's so good to be home! Although since I've been back, I've been feeling like my routine is out of whack.

I got back into Phoenix yesterday morning about 9:30 Phoenix time. Our flight left Boston at about 6:30 am (3:30 am Phoenix time), we left for the airport about 5:00 am (2:00 am Phoenix time), and I got up to get ready at 4:00 am (1:00 am Phoenix time). Just the thought of it is crazy. I tried to sleep the whole 5.5 hours or so back to Phoenix, but it still felt like a long and slow flight.

Despite being stranded in Boston over the weekend, I actually had a pretty good time. We were in downtown Boston, so that's a pretty happenin' place to be. My aunt recommended a good dim sum place in Chinatown, so on Saturday, my two coworkers and I walked there for lunch. It was pretty good dim sum - must be a popular place too, because it was crowded. We spent Saturday shopping around the downtown area. Saturday night, I went out with one of my coworkers (my manager, rather) to a place called Pho Republique. Mmmm . . . Vietnamese noodle soup. Pricey though . . . $16 for noodle soup?!

On Sunday, there was more shopping to be had since our hotel was connected to two malls (we didn't even have to go outside!). My manager went into the Coach store and apparently has a weakness for Coach, because she dropped a good amount on a new bag. I always have sticker shock at the price of Coach and other similar designer handbags. Sunday afternoon/night, I saw my aunt, uncle, and cousin and actually had a pretty good time. Had some good conversation with my cousin, which I can't say I've ever done before. Had dinner with the three of them before they dropped me off at the hotel.

I've been catching up on all my scrapbooking blogs today. I really like reading them because they inspire/motivate me to work on my own scrapbook. :)
