Pink Ombre Watercolor and Gold Embossed Card

Over the holidays, I made a series of cards with watercolored backgrounds to try out the medium/technique. This card was made with a friend in mind, who is due with a girl in March.

With this card, I also gave making a shaker card a try for the first time. It turned out okay - still some kinks on my end to work out (like . . . how to get the sequins to NOT stick to the sides of the fun foam I used to pop up the card). Using fun foam for a shaker card came from a Jennifer McGuire video (though I don't remember which one exactly).
