White on Kraft Congrats Card

Sometimes when I flip through the Paper Source catalog, I see products that inspire cards. I can't find what I originally saw on the Paper Source site anymore, but it was basically a white on kraft design.

The card is super simple, just white embossing on kraft cardstock. The result pops, although I'd forgotten to use the powder tool on the cardstock, so the white embossing could've been cleaner.

SUPPLIES:

Paper: Paper Source paper bag cover stock
Stamps: Papertrey Ink In Bloom, Congrats All Ways
Tools: White embossing powder from Jo-Ann
Ink: Tsukineko Versamark clear pigment ink

  1. Wow, this white on kraft really does pop! Looks so elegant! Those flowers already look so gorgeous without any color! Question, how do you get your paper to not warp with all that embossing that you did? When I do tons of embossing on my cardstock (100 lbs cardstock) I find my paper still warp. I hope you'll have a great weekend!
