Colored Block Twine Name Banner

In the past year or so, Evelyn's gotten pretty good at writing her own name, and so her name is prominently written on many pieces of artwork that she creates, because it seems that kids like to see their names on things.

For my Whisker Graphics project this month, I made a name banner for Evelyn using the We R Memory Keepers alphabet punch and a few colors of solid Divine Twine.

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Gather choice of twine colors. I chose shades of blue. I picked kraft colored cardstock for the letters, and cut those down to 3' x 5' in order to use the alphabet punch.
  2. Punch out letters.
  3. Wrap selected sections of letters with chosen twine colors.
  4. Punch holes along the top of the letter and add twine to string the letters.

I left it for Evelyn on her craft space and after she saw it, she wanted to hang it up in her room, so I call that a successful project!
