Meals in the Mail - Balsamic Strawberries Recipe

I'm a little giddy that the last couple of weeks have been more of a "normal" work schedule for me, which means that I can spend some time crafting at night after the kids go to bed (especially since Greg has been engrossed in playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild).

One of the things I tackled was making this recipe for balsamic strawberries, which I first blogged about years ago after we tried out a recipe we found online (those are sometimes hit-or-miss, but in this case, hit): Balsamic Strawberries.

I'm mailing this in for Naomi Bulger's Meals in the Mail project, where she is collecting snail mail recipes to compile a recipe book.

Taking a piece of watercolor paper, I added some warm watercolors for the background. After letting that dry, I die cut flower silhouettes from black cardstock to adhere to the bottom. I stamped the title with alphabet stamps, as well as the bullets, and then wrote the recipe out by hand.

I was pleased with the finished product! Now I just have to get myself over to the post office to mail it in.
