Halloween 2014 Layout

Now that it is September, Halloween rolls around next month (!). I scrapbooked the photos of Evelyn in her Tinkerbell costume from last year towards the tail end of my maternity leave earlier in the year. There were too many photos I wanted to use, so I ended up with a very photo-heavy layout with a small embellished strip. To go with the green in her costume, I chose to use mostly green embellishments.

There weren't many trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood. When we left our house to take Evelyn around the neighborhood, we actually left a handful of candy bars at the front door (we bought full-size candy bars), and either none or only one of them were taken when we got back. Part of the reason we buy full-size candy bars? Because we know there's not many trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood, so the ones that do stop by our house get legit candy.

At three, Evelyn didn't last that long trick-or-treating. We made it to maybe three or four houses, before she said she had to go potty, at which point we headed home. Those wings also didn't stay on very long. We made it across the street before they came off because they were itchy, and mommy (that's me) was left holding them the rest of the time.
