Retro Sketches 147 Birthday Card

The holidays, with all its relax and downtime, was good for crafting. I made a bunch of cards, made good progress on a layout of baby #2, and fiddled with using my new serger (gift from my dad - I still need to actually tackle the sewing projects though).

Here's a card from last weekend for this week's retro sketch:

I've been using the Silhouette a lot lately to cut out shapes/sentiments for cards, as well as a title for an in-progress layout. It's been under-utilized - I should use it more!

SUPPLIES:

Paper: Bazzill (Ambrosia Feather Berry/Ikat patterned paper, red, blue, and white solid cardstock); Paper Source (paper bag solid cardstock)
Embellishments: sequins from Jo-Ann
Stamps: Heidi Swapp (sentiment stamp - this is old! I got it when I first started to get more into paper crafting, so around 2007ish); Pinkfresh Studio (line/arrow stamp from Fresh Inspiration Kit Totally Delightful stamp set)
Tools: Silhouette Cameo (cut feathers); McGill (file tab punch); embossing powder from Jo-Ann
