Desktop Studio and Card Exchange

Say hello to my new friend - the desktop studio (a.k.a. light tent kit):

Greg got this for me so that I could take pictures of smaller stuff - cards, pottery, layouts, etc.

Since I went to a card exchange on Friday night (theme: "Falloween"), I utilized the light tent kit to photograph the cards exchanged:

Here is the card project that we made - it's all fancy and interactive because when you pull out one side of the insert, both sides come out. I didn't finish the card because I wanted to use it as a template for future cards.

Lastly, here's the card I made for the exchange. I wasn't keen on the Halloween theme, so I went the Fall route.

  1. wow, I didn't realize things like that even existed. It's really a ploy to "think" you have to spend more money so the pictures of your scrapbooking cards look effective enough to post on blogs. But, it's effective. The pictures turned out great and you can really see the detail of each card. I'm talking to Stephanie about possibly joining her card club group. I recently did a scrapbooking craft and I was hooked.
