Today, I took the light rail for the first time ever. I'd like to say it's because I'm being "green" and junk, but really it's because I'm protesting the parking garage management company for wanting to charge me for NOT parking in their garage.
The light rail was super easy to navigate and fairly convenient - I decided that's what I'll do the rest of the time that I'm working downtown. I was a bit concerned that there would be weird people on it, but actually, there aren't really (that I saw, at least). At the same time, I'm not going to be hanging around downtown, takin' the light rail after it gets dark, either.
I think one weekend, if Greg is up for it, I'd like to tool around downtown just by taking the light rail. It makes downtown seem more urban than it really is!
